ABOUT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE DOIMUKH

Government College Doimukh,situated at its permanent site at Midpu I under Papumpare District, Arunachal Pradesh was established on 4th May 2012. The college was initially started at Arunachal Law Academy Building, Lekhi (near Nirjuli) in July 2012. Gradually in 2013, the College was shifted to the new temporary site within campus of Government Higher Secondary School, Doimukh.

It is very pertinent to mention here that almost after five years of existence in temporary sites; finally the college got its permanent site at Midpu I and shifted in August 2017.

Hence, the College is functioning in it's permanent campus and eventually all the teaching and non-teaching staff under the leadership of Dr. Taw Azu, the Principal are contributing their best to ensure quality Education. The College is permanently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University in january 2020 and Recognized under Section-2(f)& 12(B)of UGC act ,1956 in September 2020, Rono Hills, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. In 12 years of it's existance Govt. College Doimukh is 4th largest college interms of enrollment in the state.The course content and academic calender of the college are in accordance with Rajiv Gandhi University. At present, the College is imparting education through National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), and old semester system (non-CBCS).
