Admission Procedure:
Intake Capacity (As notified by the Government) - BA First Semester: Total 550
1. Catchment area (only regular pass students)– 400
2. Non-catchment area – 100
3. NIOS (Open Schooling) – 45
4. PWD, Sports Person, NCC, NSS – 05
Students will be selected for admission purely on merit basis and according to ordinance of Rajiv Gandhi University. A student must have minimum 40% marks in the qualifying examinations to be eligible to apply for admission. (Principal, Government College, Doimukh reserve the right in all matters related to admission.)
Eligibility Criteria for Admission: BA I Semester
1. An applicant seeking admission in BA First Semester must have passed AISSCE (10+2) or any equivalent examinations from a recognised Board/University with five papers including English as a compulsory paper.
2. The Applicant must have secured minimum 40% (in aggregate) in their qualifying examinations (Class XII). However, the applicant from non-catchment area must have 45% and above to apply for admission. All admission will be done strictly on the basis of merit (to be prepared as per the qualifying examination results).
3. Admission will be considered as per the catchment norms issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Preference will be given to those candidates who belong to Papum Pare District. However, some seats (as prescribed by the Government) as given above will be allowed to candidates from non-catchment area purely on the basis of merit.
4. For B.A. I Semester, a total of 05 (five) seats are reserved for Differently Abled People(PWD), National Level Sports Person, Certified NSS & NCC volunteers of Arunachal Pradesh irrespective of the catchment area.

Documents Required:
1. Class X certificate in original with two self attested copies.
2. Marks sheet of Class XII in original with two self attested copies.
3. Transfer certificate (Original) from the institution last attended. (Mandatory)
4. Migration certificate in original with one self attested copy (outside state/CBSE).
5. ST/SC certificate (one) self attested copy.
6. Character certificate from the institution last attended.
7. Recent passport size photographs-5 copies for APST & 4 copies for Non-APST (Name & class to be written on the back of each photo).
8. One Xerox copy of Adhar card.
9. One xerox copy of PRC self attested (only for candidates of catchment areas)

BA II /III/ IV/ V / VI Semester:
1. Student seeking admission in BA Third/Fourth/Fifth & Sixth Semester should have passed in the corresponding lower examinations conducted by RGU.
2. Those students who are placed under the category of pass with back paper (s) can also take admission subject to fulfillment of other criteria.

1. Marks sheet of last qualifying exams (two) self attested copies.
2. University Registration Card (one) self attested copy.
3. ST/SC certificate (one) self attested copy.
4. Five copies of recent passport size photograph with name & class written on the back of each photo.
Documents required for Filling up of University Examination Forms
1. College Identity Card one Xerox copy.
2. University Registration Card (one) self attested copy.
3. Marks sheet of last qualifying exams (two) self attested copies.
4. Three copies recent passport size photograph with name & class written on the back of each photo.
